41 Years of Qadhafi

Perhaps it's just that reporters are concentrating on the Washington peace talks, or that it's been ovvershadowed by Qadhafi's recent visit to Italy, but the 41st Anniversary of the Great Fatih September Revolution, AKA the coup that toppled the Libyan monarchy, seems to be getting little attention this year, compared to last year's 40th anniversary extravaganza.

I will, however, note as I did last year, that when he took power 40 years ago he was a captain, and now he's only a colonel. Not very rapid career advancement.
